Increasing customer requirements and the desire to make the supply and servicing of end customers more efficient were instrumental in the decision to set up this new location in Carinthia. Bernhard Mandl, Business Development Manager at tectraxx, speaks of a first step towards being able to operate with total coverage of Austria in the medium term: "With regional branches, we are in the position of being able to offer faster delivery times, as well as a prompter service for end customers.”
It is in Klagenfurt that the regional warehouses and offices of telecoms giant Alcatel-Lucent are operated. For the paper wholesaler PaperNet, tectraxx will be taking over transport and logistics services. From the point of view of Alcatel-Lucent, the new facilities are oriented towards the future, says Karl Ferdinand Tautscher: "We are more flexible, given these prerequisites, consequently equipped for new markets and new customer requirements.” Johann Mathauser, Despatch and Fleet Manager at PaperNet also sees the development as being positive: "Since March, tectraxx has been handling the entire warehousing and delivery for Carinthia and East Tyrol - the set-up at the Klagenfurt location is very good.
